Mexico Ministry Partnership

Our Mission

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Matthew 28:18-20

Since 1998, the West Main Church of Christ has partnered with our brothers and sisters in San Felipe, Mexico, to fulfill the Great Commission of making disciples of all nations and building up the body of Christ. Over the years, the way we have served has evolved, reflecting the various calls we have received to support this partnership. We believe and pray that the Lord is equipping His people for works of service to strengthen the body of Christ.

Goals for 2026

We have a partnership with the Iglesia de Cristo Church in San Felipe, Mexico. For the past few years, a group of us has visited the church during spring break. During these visits, we work with the church elders and members to identify the needs of the congregation, enabling them to better serve their community. Over time, we have supported their mission to build a new church that aligns with how God is calling their congregation to engage in ministry. The Iglesia de Cristo is diligently working to reach this goal while continuing to meet the needs of its members and the community.

In 2020, the elders of the church identified a family in their congregation that needed a home. Plans were developed to help make this dream a reality, but they were quickly halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Last year, we reignited the dream of providing a home for the family by laying the foundation for their house. While it may not yet be complete, taking this step is a significant progress toward making it a reality.

This year, we hope to finally give this family a place to call home by completing the walls and roof of the foundation that was laid last year. But we need workers, financial support, and prayers to make this happen.
