ChristophersTerry Christopher has been the Pulpit Minister at West Main since 2009. He married his wife, Corinne, in October of 1991 and they have three daughters: Kayla, Kelly and Kendra. In his free time, Terry enjoys hiking, reading and playing racquetball.

As a senior in high school, Terry had a classmate whose father was the elder at a local church. This gentleman, Paul Sherman, encouraged Terry to read and study by asking him provoking questions, ultimately leading him to Christ. Terry now holds Master of Arts, and Master of Divinity and Theology degrees, from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He brings an emphasis on peacemaking and relational healing to his ministry, offering his abilities in counseling, preaching and solving complex congregational issues.

Terry says, “I am humbled by the task that God has put before me. I feel I’m charged with an awesome accountability and opportunity to help people draw closer to God by experiencing His love and I am pressed to do my utmost to carry out this calling every day.”

PannellsBrian Pannell has been the Youth & Family Minister at West Main for eleven years. He married his wife, Jessie, in 1997 and they are raising three children: Jude, Merrick and Hadassah. In his free time, Brian enjoys music, movies, reading, sports and communal living.

Raised in the Church in Memphis, Tennessee, Brian was baptized at the age of sixteen. He has walked through every season of faith from seasons of joy to seasons of doubt, but he recognizes the Lord has never left his side. After being planted in Medford, Oregon, after a series of events that can only be called divine intervention, Brian is honored to play his part in leading our church’s younger generations into their future grounded in the word of God, with hearts for love, grace and justice. He has an energy and love for young people to see the fullness of life God plans for them!

Brian says, “West Main is where God led me, has kept me, and wants me to be. I am excited to be leading this church and its youth into a bright, free future! This is SO MUCH more than just a job and SO MUCH more than a church for me and my family. This is WHO WE ARE. It is our family and our life.”
